The leading lady of South Indian cinema with 500 films in major south Indian languages Dr Jayanthi Abhinayasharade looked cool and composed after two months of bed rest for an accident in the house. The right hip of the actress was hit by a sharp edge at home when she was coming from the bath room. On the turn of events in the family life of Dr Jayanthi – her daughter in law going to family court and seeking divorce from Krishnakumar son of Dr Jayanthi has really hurt her but she keeps it as a close chapter. ‘It is better not to talk about the issue’ says the actress.

The noted actress has got right attention from her son Krishnakumar and doctors advised her bed rest as the main treatment for two months.

Soon after the news of Dr Jayanthi situation of bed rest was known veteran actors Srinivasamurthy, Ramesh Bhat, Edakallu Chandrasekhar, Shruthi, Hema Chaudhary visited the Uttarahalli residence of actress to wish speedy recovery.

‘I am quite OK by 80 percent’ today stated the superb actress when she had come for launch of her television serial ‘Onde Gudina Hakkigalu’.

LOOK AT WHAT DR JAYANTHI EXPRESSED AT A MEDIA CHAT:

·         I used to wear chappal for going to bath room and coming to my bed. That day I did not use it and the water on the nice step made me to slip and right side of hip bone got injured.

·         In fact I am the one who advise everyone on such dangers. I myself became a victim of it.

·         Doctors have advised for not to take deep breath, speak loud or stress in life.

·         I am the one who received lot of blows in my life from the beginning. They are countless.

·         I have countless of cheques not cleared. Is it worth over Rs.15 crores = Dr Jayanthi laughs.

·         I remember one of the incidents. It was with Krishna in Telugu film. A very big producer dodged in paying my remuneration. I asked him to construct a room atop his house and give my name to it. Bundles of bounced cheques are still with me.

·         It is not the silver awards I received in my career. In one of the shifting I was told the 70’s later silver mementoes received are lost.

·         Like how I lost jewels, cash and properties in my life, I even lost silver mementoes.

·         Making two films in Kannada I told my closets that I did not burnt my hands but my entire body. That is true, I lost heavily.

·         For this Jayanthi recognition has not come in right way. I don’t yell at it.

·         When Mysore University vice chancellor called up and said he wants to Dr Jayanthi, I was perplexed. I said there is no one like that in the house.

·         Later he told me the university is giving honorary doctorate. That has been a big surprise.

·         The proper routing has to be done for other awards – sadly it is not happening.

·         Someone around me has not eaten, I worry for it. That is my nature of humanity. I believe in Sare Jana Sukhino Bavanthu!

·         For my medical expenses I am the last person to ask someone to give. I do not want such a stage in life to come. I never want someone to give medical bills of mine.

·         Jayanthi recalled the grand sareer and other costumes she wore for films did not bring home. It was only on two occasions cutting my remuneration I brought it home. It is the property of the producer she says.

·         The disadvantage of keeping such costumes is that people recognize it and say so and so film you have used.

·         I don’t want to talk on Anu parting company with my son Krishnakumar, it is not necessary to say anything.

·         My son is looking after me with all facilities. I am happy in life.

·         On the awards and honors, it should be routed properly = film chamber to MP’s from Karnataka to moot it. There are many deserving.

·         I was even cheated in Elections in the past. I do not go to any party for this time Lok Sabha Elections.

·         Kalavidara Sangha building – I have suggested for travel all over Karnataka to Dr Raj for fund raising.

·         I even told Dr Ambarish to conduct such a program in his Mandya for self reliance to the building of Artists.
